  • Condition: Vintage Scotty Dog Planter In Wonderful Condition. I don't see any chips, cracks, etc. Looking in the inside, you can see that it was used as a planter. I took 2 photos showing inside. First made it look too dark. Last photo I used flash so you can this more clearly. It is white inside and you can see staining in bottom and hard water deposits in areas, particularly near the inside top edge. Took photos of all sides, inside and top and bottom. Please enlarge all photos for all details of condition.

    DESCRIPTION:
    Vintage SCOTTY DOG Planter, Pen and Pencil Holder, etc.
    Looking inside, you can see it was once used as a planter, but it could be used as a pen and pencil holder, for instance.
    The Black and White Scotty Dog has lots of details.   You can see his front paws are resting on a ledge of the planter.
    The bottom is marked twice.  In the center JAPAN is Engraved with what looks like mountains above the word JAPAN.  There is also a black stamp with a  BIRD ON BRANCH and MADE IN JAPAN.
    APPROX. SIZE:
    Height 4 1/8" to tip of ears.  Measuring the bottom base:  2 1/2" x 3 1/2".
