Description

This a Cleveland 1796 souvenir plate. On the front it features the Art Museum, Auditorium, General Cleveland statue, Severance Hall, Garfield Memorial, City Hall, Terminal Tower & Stadium. As mentioned there is a small chip on the bottom-it is hard to spot when displayed. There is also a small rust spot on the edge at the top-from being displayed.
The back says "CLEVELANT "The Forest City" Ohio. Settled in 1796 under the direction of General Moses Cleveland. The largest city in Ohio. With its river and fine harbor it holds a commanding position in respect to commerce, schools, and the fine arts. Designed by Vernon Kilns U.S.A.
The plate is about 10 1/2 inches across.
