is a vintage unopened very large Maxwell House Coffee jar from 1970.  The label has a badge stating "Giant Coffee Buds".  This same jar can be seen in Maxwell House magazine ads from 1970.  The Giant Coffee Buds were introduced in 1970.  Note the large "New!" badge on the lid.  The original price of .49 is clearly visible on the lid, stamped in blue ink.
There is no bar code, as bar codes did not appear until 1974.
Note this is the a bonus sized very tall 12 oz jar.  I have shown a close up photo of the lid showing the Anchor Hocking emblem, the maker of the jar and lid.
