$ 18.48

Availability: 100 in stock

Description

This is a hacked GameCube memory card for launching homebrew software from an SD card on an unmodified GameCube. The SD Launcher is a versatile option for launching homebrew software such as Game Boy Interface (GBI), Swiss, 240p Test Suite, CleanRip and more!
This official Nintendo memory card was cleaned inside and out before applying the custom designed SD Launcher label.
The SD Launcher does not require any modifications to your GameCube, however you will need:
Memory Card SD Adapter (or SD2SP2 with compatible GameCube models)
A physical US copy of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (upon request I can make it work with Smash Bros. Melee, Twilight Princess and a few other specific titles)
SD card (holds your homebrew file - named autoexec.dol ).
SD ADAPTER,
SD CARD and
GAME DISC Must be Purchased Separately.
USAGE:
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker:
Select the homebrew software you want to launch and copy the .dol file to the SD card (not within a folder). Rename the .dol file
autoexec.dol
Place the SD Launcher memory card in Slot A, and the SD memory card adapter with SD card in Slot B (or SD2SP2 in Serial Port 2). Start up Wind Waker. On the title screen, press Start and the autoexec.dol homebrew will launch.
Super Smash Bros. Melee
:
Select the homebrew software you want to launch and copy the .dol file to the SD card (not within a folder). Rename the .dol file
autoexec.dol
Place the SD Launcher memory card in Slot A, and the SD memory card adapter with SD card in Slot B (or SD2SP2 in Serial Port 2). Start up
Melee. On the title screen press Start, then go to Versus Mode and down to Name Entry and the autoexec.dol homebrew will launch.
Any time you want to launch something different, replace the autoexec.dol file with the new software. Alternately, use Swiss as your autoexec.dol and load other homebrew/games from there.
