    Description

    This commemorative pewter belt buckle measures 2 1/2” tall by 3 3/4” wide. On July 10, 1989 seventeen tornadoes hit Hamden, CT and the surrounding area. Utility workers worked thousands of hours to repair the damage. Appaloosa Custom Products of Milford, CT produced these buckles for these workers. On the reverse of the buckle is an extensive description of these events. The buckle is in very good condition.
