    Civil War Drummers Belt Buckle and two Drumsticks - Scarce - The plate was
    meant
    to be worn on the sling of the drum and to hold the drumsticks when not in use.  The front of the plate is made from a sheet of brass with clipped corners . Mounted to the front plate are two
    cylindrical
    holders through which the drumsticks pass. These cylinders are
    slightly narrower
    than a drumstick and friction holds the sticks in place. On the reverse is applied a three prong attachment  that attaches the plate to the belt.  A similar plate is listed on the Horse Soldier site for 5.00 without drumsticks.  Shipping .00
